Tooth Replacement

Dental Implants
in Austin, TX

Replace missing teeth with permanent, natural-looking dental implants. Anchored directly in your jawbone, implants restore your smile's function, beauty, and confidence for life.

Tooth Replacement

The Gold Standard in Tooth Replacement

Dental implants are the most advanced and long-lasting solution for missing teeth. Unlike bridges or dentures, implants replace the entire tooth structure — from root to crown — giving you a restoration that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth.

At Broberg Family Dental, Dr. Broberg uses CBCT 3D imaging and precise surgical planning to place implants with exceptional accuracy. The result is a seamless restoration that preserves your jawbone, protects surrounding teeth, and restores your ability to eat, speak, and smile with complete confidence.

1

Consultation & Planning

We begin with a comprehensive exam including CBCT 3D imaging to evaluate your jawbone, map nerve pathways, and create a precise surgical plan. This technology allows us to plan your implant placement digitally before the procedure even begins.

2

Implant Placement

A small titanium post is placed into your jawbone during a comfortable, minimally invasive procedure. Sedation options are available for your comfort. Over the next 3-4 months, the implant fuses with your bone through a process called osseointegration.

3

Crown Restoration

Once your implant has fully integrated, we attach a custom-crafted porcelain crown that matches the color, shape, and translucency of your natural teeth. The result is indistinguishable from a real tooth.

What Our Patients Say

I compared providers around Dripping very carefully before selecting Dr. Broberg. I have been thoroughly impressed by the caliber of knowledge and practical guidance that Dr. Broberg and his entire staff have to offer. If you have never seen a dentist who uses the latest modern equipment and medical software you are certain to be very satisfied after your first visit here. Not only do I now have amazingly detailed 3D imagery in my records, but I have also been able to follow through on the power bleaching and deep cleaning that I had promised myself for several years.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The implant post itself is made of biocompatible titanium that fuses permanently with your jawbone. The crown on top typically lasts 10-15 years before it may need replacement, though many last much longer.
Most adults with good general health are candidates for dental implants. You need adequate jawbone density to support the implant — if bone loss has occurred, bone grafting may be an option. During your consultation, Dr. Broberg will use CBCT 3D imaging to evaluate your specific situation.
The cost varies based on the number of implants needed, any preparatory procedures like bone grafting, and the type of restoration. We offer flexible financing through CareCredit and our in-house payment plans to make implants accessible. Contact us for a personalized estimate.
Most patients report that the procedure is far more comfortable than they expected. We use local anesthesia and offer sedation options for added comfort. Post-procedure discomfort is typically manageable with over-the-counter pain medication and resolves within a few days.
The entire process typically takes 3-6 months. After the implant post is placed, a healing period of 3-4 months allows osseointegration — the process of the implant fusing with your jawbone. Once healed, your custom crown is placed in a second appointment.
