Our Practice
Rooted in Southwest Austin
Broberg Family Dental was founded with a simple belief: everyone deserves a dentist who listens. Located in the heart of Southwest Austin, our practice serves families throughout Austin, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Oak Hill, Bee Caves, and Lakeway.
Dr. Eric Broberg, a native of this community, built this practice on the values he grew up with — genuine care, honest communication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. When Dr. Alex Tryon joined the team, he brought the same patient-first philosophy and an additional depth of skill that expanded what we can offer.
We've invested in the most advanced dental technology available — not because it's trendy, but because it allows us to deliver more precise, more comfortable, and more predictable results. From CBCT 3D imaging to iTero digital scanning, every tool in our office serves one purpose: better outcomes for you.
Lead Dentist
Dr. Eric S. Broberg
Doctor of Dental Surgery
A proud Southwest Austin native, Dr. Broberg earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The University of Texas at Austin before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the UT School of Dentistry at Houston in 2012.
What sets Dr. Broberg apart is his commitment to advanced training. With over 100 hours of continuing education from institutions including the Dawson Academy, Spear Education, and Arrowhead Dental Lab, he brings specialized expertise in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders, complex occlusion, and full-mouth restoration.
He is certified in oral sedation, laser dentistry, Invisalign, and therapeutic Botox — making him one of the most comprehensively trained general dentists in the Austin area. His approach combines diagnostic precision with genuine artistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Broberg is a devoted father of three. You'll find him mountain biking one of Austin's many green belts, paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake, working in his garden, or cheering on the Texas Longhorns.
He's deeply invested in the community through organizations like CPATH (a cerebral palsy nonprofit), local food and pet drives, school initiatives, environmental cleanups, and youth sports sponsorship.
Associate Dentist
Dr. Alex Tryon
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Tryon completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Reno before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Tryon brings a meticulous eye for detail and a warm, reassuring presence to every patient interaction. His training at one of the nation's top dental schools gave him a strong foundation in both restorative and cosmetic techniques.
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Tryon enjoys exploring Austin's vibrant food scene, tackling DIY projects, playing pickleball and sand volleyball, and spending time outdoors in the Texas Hill Country.

Amy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Amy was born and raised in Michigan and has been in Austin since 2011. She has been a registered dental hygienist since 2004 and prior to that she was an orthodontic assistant. Amy enjoys the relationships she builds with her patients and helping them improve and maintain their oral health.
Aurelia
Team leader and Scheduling Coordinator
Aurelia is originally from Northern Michigan and has been in Austin since 2009. She has been in the dental field for over 9 years, with experience in both the clinical side of the dental office as a Registered Dental Assistant as well as the administrative side. Aurelia joined Broberg Family Dental in 2018.
Chris
Registered Dental Assistant
Chris is an Austin native. He is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and has been a dental assistant since 2010. Dedicated to both his profession and his family, he is a devoted husband and father of four.
Jennifer
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jennifer grew up in Lubbock Texas and found her passion in dentistry as a dental assistant before moving to Austin to attend Austin Community College, where she received her degree and license to practice dental hygiene in 2009.
Laurin
Registered Dental Assistant
Laurin was born and raised in Holland, Michigan, and moved to Austin in 2010. She has been in the dental field since 2020, transitioning from the front office to becoming a Registered Dental Assistant in 2022. She believes each and every patient should receive compassionate care.
Lisa
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lisa was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After being a small business owner for 20 years she entered the dental field, completed her Dental Hygiene degree in Southeast Texas, and relocated to Austin in 2013.
Taylor
Scheduling Coordinator and Registered Dental Assistant
Taylor was born in Austin and raised in Buda, Texas. She received her dental assisting license in 2022 and earned her esthetician license in 2024. She loves helping patients and spending weekends with her family and boyfriend, Cody.
Trisha
Registered Dental Hygienist
Trisha grew up in McAllen, TX, moved to Austin in 1999, and later earned her dental hygiene degree from Austin Community College in 2009 after realizing dentistry was her true passion.
